“Ais Frais” Or “Ail Nouveau”. The French revere their fresh garlic and the world stops when the digging begins. The thought just conjures up a sunny farmers market in the South of France. But why not just stop by Anneth farm on Saturday 2:30 to 6:30 and get some of this amazing food, have a visit and share some refreshments.
The garlic you buy at the store is cured garlic- it has been rested and dried for 3 weeks and we will have that for sale later in the season. But Fresh Garlic is a delicacy that comes once a year. Before it is cured garlic has an nuttier sweeter taste. Once you have roasted a head of it - nothing else will compare.
So drop by the farm on Saturday June 29th between 2:30 and 6:30. If there is no parking - drive further on past the farmhouse to the larger parking area or park by the barn. We are also offering farm tours for $10.00 per person or $40.00 for groups of 5 or more.
