THIS SPRING ANNETH FARM IS HERE TO SERVE YOU - EVEN DURING COVID 19…….
One great thing about farming is that we are always “working from home”. However in this continuing time of Social Distancing and public safety we really want to create some choice as to how you access our farm produce so we are reopening our online store for the 2021 season. Now bear with us - there will be errors because we are farmers on a very small farm so forgive us in advance for our bumbling attempts to send squash to screen and make our blueberries binary! Here is the link to our online farm stand: https://anneth-farm.square.site/. As usual our eggs will be on the roadside stand outside our farm gate. We have had a price increase to $7/doz this year. For those of you who are planning your gardens we will be having our SPRING VEGGIE START SALE on Wednesday May 19th right here at the farm from 10:30 am to 6 pm.
Payment on the online store site is by credit card. If you choose to do this - you can have it record your information and this is called “Square Pay”, making it much easier the next time you place an order with us. Ordering online really helps us stay organized as it manages our inventory so we don’t sell you food we dont have!
Online shopping will be available starting May 10th, 2021. As farming season begins there will be only a few limited products available, but as we get in to full swing the site will blossom! Pickup only at 9420 West Saanich Road from 4 pm to 6 pm. Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you do not wish to order online, we would suggest you use the online store link to see what produce we have available on that day and then pre order by e mailing us your order to annethfarm@gmail.com. We can then send you an invoice and you can pay one of several ways:
1) Just follow directions and pay using the “Square” invoice
2) Send us an etransfer to annethfarm@gmail.com. (We have autodeposit)
3) Put cash in the box when you come to pick up your order.
Starting Wednesday June 2nd we will be open at the farm stand all day Wednesdays from 10:30 to 6pm- We will be there in person and you can shop the old fashioned way, although we do ask you to wear a mask and respect 2 meters of social distancing as long as BC restrictions are in place.
We will be at the North Saanich Farm Market https://www.facebook.com/North-Saanich-Farm-Market-114647165219152/ every Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 starting June 5th and you can also arrange to pick up your pre orders there. The market will continue to be COVID compliant with only food, no music or crafts. We will be asking that you shop and depart promptly in order to keep everyone safe and allow everyone time to get their produce. The address is 10990 W Saanich Rd, North Saanich, BC V8L 5P6.
We encourage you to try some of these new ways of ordering. We are pioneering this together. If you choose to email us for your pre order please remember that we then have to manually manage our inventory so there will be times when the food you have ordered may be sold out - if that happens we will offer you a credit toward your next purchase or offer a substitute.
Regardless of how we connect you with your food, it is still the relationship we have with you that we value most; sharing recipes, knowing who you are feeding at dinner tonight, what you are celebrating around the dinner table. So stay in touch!
